“I like to think of my art as a slightly distorted projection of that wicked mesh that thrives inside of me.
I aim to capture every bit of energy and abstraction of active thought that crosses my mind.
In my work, I emphasize depth and movement by the use of strokes and perspective I’ve developed over time but when possible I also like to work with primary colors because I find them to be raw and universally understood.
As an artist everything fuels me, my muse is one that constantly feeds of every conscious moment and everything I feel, hear, and see. Although sometimes some of my individual pieces simply spawn from subtle quotes stuck in the back of my head, things like “I wanted to breathe smoke”, and “So to where are you supposed to escape, when the creature is lurking inside?”
I love experimenting with mediums and I’ve scattered my work from graphite to digital media. I chose art because in my day to day life there is an urge to shout and I’ve found the only breath that does me justice is the one in my art.”
