Watch out for some surprisingly deep and syrupy folk by a local group called Our Friend the Mountain. The band is a 5 piece consisting of Omar Cuellar-vocals/guitar/banjo, Jaganath Raspopovich-bass/guitar, Jacob Bilbo-ukelele/trumpet, Irving Cuellar-drums/percussion, and Adrian Cuellar-guitar/vocals. With instruments like the banjo and trumpet in their repertoire and an unknown number of reserve members, you can expect a highly textured wall of sound when they play live.
