SXSW is slowly creeping towards us and spontaneous moments of awesome are beginning to happen in good ‘ol ATX…
On Friday, Ghostland Observatory announced they would be playing a free show at the Moody Theatre via their facebook page. So one could imagine the frenzy that was incited to get to the venue as quick as possible before it filled up with equally in the know Austinites.
As you can tell from the photos, singer Aaron Behrens and multi instrumentalist Thomas Turner unleashed a dramatic performance. Behrens’ vocals and dancing light up the stage and Turner’s sound manipulation makes your feet move. Their electro funk style combined with their wild laser show surely fizzled the brains of the lucky audience.
